The article aims to present five news/announcements that happened last week on the Cosmos ecosystem.

Our goal at Imperator is to help the community by summarising the most important information that should not be missed.

Weekly Newsletter: What happened on the Cosmos ecosystem this week? Oct 31 โ€” Nov 5

1. Introducing Duality ๐ŸŽ

Duality is one of the most exciting projects coming on Cosmos: itโ€™s a DEX focused on capital efficiency, MEV redistribution to LPs, and replicating any AMM curve.

Itโ€™s infinitely powerful and sustainable.

The project is coming Q1 2023 and will offer a whole new experience to liquidity providers and traders.

Looking forward to it!

2. Skip is now live on Juno!

As a validator, we are very pleased to use Skipโ€™s technology in order to maximize and improve the APR of our delegators.

We strongly believe that MEV is a way to incentivize validators and delegators while relying less on inflation.

Having such a brilliant team like Skip, building this kind of product is vital for our ecosystem.

3. stkATOM by pSTAKE announced!

pStake just announced that next week, $stkATOM will be available.

What is it? Itโ€™s a liquid staking derivative that youโ€™ll be able to use while earning staking rewards and securing the Hub.

4. Stride launched stOsmo ๐Ÿงช ๐ŸŒŠ

After, stATOM, stSTARS and stJUNO, itโ€™s now time for stOSMO ๐Ÿงช

You can now stake directly your $OSMO on Stride to get $stOSMO and provide liquidity on the $stOsmo / $OSMO pool!

The pool currently has a total return of 125% with already almost $2M in liquidity. You can check everything here

5. Learn more about Lava ๐ŸŒ‹

Gil (CTO and co-founder) did an interview with Cryptocito to explain what Lava is and the importance of decentralized RPC access.

RPCs are essential for any blockchain infrastructure, and relying on decent and decentralized providers is essential.

This is what Lava is bringing, starting with Cosmos.

Thatโ€™s it for the week!

Weekly Newsletter: What happened on the Cosmos ecosystem this week? Nov 14โ€” 20

1. Proposal #82 for ATOM 2.0 on the Cosmos Hub was rejected

52.49% of the community didnโ€™t vote YES, meaning that the proposal was way too controversial to pass. We now have to learn from this and find a common agreement.

The best way is to move forward step by step, and the first step is to fix the state of the community pool, which is in a very poor situation. There is an ongoing discussion on the forum and we encourage everyone, especially NWV validators to participate.

[PROPOSAL #88] [ACCEPTED] Increasing Hub Community Tax
Update 05/12: Post went on-chain and slight amendments made to fit the 5000 character limit Update 28/11: After seeing that consensus is pretty much reached, we are pushing the date of when the vote goes on-chain to Monday 5th December (7 days from now). Update 25/11: We are hoping to put this proโ€ฆ

2. On-ramp integrations on Osmosis

Itโ€™s now possible to buy OSMO directly on Osmosis using your credit card with Transak. However, fees are still very high ~$40.

It is also possible to buy USDC with your Credit Card on Osmosis using Kado! Fees are similar to Transak.

In addition to Network Fee, Axelar Fee, Processing Fee, you have to take into account other fees such as a Credit Card Fee (3% of the total amount).

3. Axelar airdrop is coming!

The airdrop was announced on a live with Cryptocito. People that have bridged to Osmosis in the early days through Satellite will be eligible for an AXL airdrop.

4. Stride, 4M $STRD will be airdropped

Get ready, youโ€™ll receive a STRD airdrop in 2 days!

5. Delphi Labs introduced Shuttle

Shuttle allows you to connect any combination of Cosmos wallets and app chains to your Dappโ€™s frontend with just a few lines of code.

Simple to integrate, the package abstracts away the logic of connecting to a particular wallet or app chain, and makes adding or removing support for various chains painless.

Thatโ€™s it for the week!

Weekly Newsletter: What happened on the Cosmos ecosystem this week? Nov 21โ€“27

1. List of the upcoming ICS chains

Informal wrote a twitter thread to introduce the very first projects that will use interchain security with the Cosmos Hub, coming in January 2023.

There are already 6 projects that are planning to become consumer chains.

We are very happy to support them as a validator on the Game of Chains, to test Interchain Security with many other Cosmos Validators.

2. Injective integrated a fiat on-ramp solution!

Injective integrated Kado to onboard users on the different dApps using fiat very easily.

There is a video that explains how to use Kado with Injective easily right here ๐Ÿ‘‡

3. Stride airdrop is live!

You can now claim your $STRD airdrop! We wrote full guides in English, French, Turkish and Japanese to show you how to claim the airdrop.

If you want to learn more about Stride, check out our Fast & Crypto episode with Aidan, co-founder of Stride!

4. Introducing Paddle ๐Ÿ„

Paddle will be a rollup on top of Sei Network using the MVM (Move virtual machine). Paddle will leverage Seiโ€™s underlying DeFi ecosystem and trading-focused optimizations, along with connecting to the broader IBC ecosystem.

Move is very promising and it will be exciting to follow the development of Paddle on the Cosmos ecosystem, via Sei Network.

5. Onomy Protocol raised $10M!

Onomy Protocol is an L1 built on Cosmos to converge Forex and DeFi. The project plans to offer a multi-chain wallet, an orderbook DEX with AMM liquidity pools, and a stablecoin issuance protocol.

Thatโ€™s it for the week!
